In his own words, he writes:

"My father was a crop duster and used to hold me in his lap, at the age of 4 years, while crop dusting in a Stearman PT-17. At the age of 18, I obtained my private pilot's license and was soon flying and building up hours every way I could. I spent time as a teen in Lake Tahoe, Calif., and fell in love with the wilderness and dreamed of Alaska.

"I entered the United States Naval air program and was assigned as flight crew. I flew in a variety of aircraft, including F-4 Phantoms backseat radar intercept officer, during the Vietnam campaign.

"I obtained commercial instrument multi-engine certificates and in the early 1970s, went to work for Pacific Southwest Airlines airline training center in San Diego as a mechanic and test pilot. The following are a list of the experiences I've had:

- San Diego Police Department police officer, resigned honorably as Detective.

- United States Department of Defense Detective, San Diego, resigned honorably

- United States Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent, aviation program, resigned honorably

- owned and operated a 85-foot open Party commercial sport fishing boat in San Diego, and held 100-ton USCG Master Captain's license

- obtained FAA air show performer certificate, began line commercial airshows. Performed 25 air shows a year for five years, flying with JESUS is LORD Air Support Ministries.

I came to Alaska in 2007, flying in the Alaska bush for multiple airlines, Grant Airlines Bethel, Ute Air, Iliamna Air, Wings and SeaPort Airlines Part 135 line pilot.

"I became a transportation specialist guide in the tour and transportation industry of Alaska. I provided a multitude of tours for tourists and experts in their fields of biology, oceanography, geology, wildlife, all aspects of nature. I also held an independent contracting service for ferry of aircraft, Alaska, Hawaii and Lower 48, Christian Brothers Aircraft Service."

He is survived by his son, Matthew Brennan; a brother; and a sister.
