Bryan Bragg

Jul 15, 1963 -

Nov 25, 2021

Longtime Alaska resident Bryan Bragg passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Nov. 25, 2021. His passing has left a gaping hole in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Bryan was born on July 15, 1963, in Montecello, Utah, and moved to Alaska with his family in June 1969. He attended Anchorage Christian School and Dimond High School.

Bryan worked as a carpenter and construction worker and traveled the state extensively in that capacity. He enjoyed watching any and all sports, fishing, hanging out with his buddies and, most of all, being a father to his daughter, Skyla Kimball. She was his greatest joy and his greatest achievement.

Bryan was preceded in death by his father, Donald Bragg; and three brothers, Jerry, Mike and Scott. He is survived by his daughter, Skyla Kimball; mother, Naoma Bragg; sisters, Terri Leman, Nola Fletcher (Lance), Pam Peterson (Greg) and Vicki Ferguson; nieces and nephews too numerous to name, but whom he loved very much; and a slew of lifelong friends. He also leaves his honorary second mother, Jeri Wik.

A memorial service will be held summer 2022.
