Bruce Edward Brown, 65, passed away on Sept. 15, 2022, at his residence in Anchorage, Alaska.

Services will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, at the Cremation Society of Alaska, 1306 East 74th Avenue in Anchorage.

Bruce was born on July 23, 1957, in Seattle, Wash. Bruce was active in junior basketball in high school and college. He moved to Alaska in 1983 to begin a new adventure with his sister. He lived and fished in Dutch Harbor, Alaska. He worked with the Fishing Company of Alaska until 2010.

Bruce enjoyed all things basketball.

His family wrote, "Bruce was a good uncle to his niece and nephew and loved all dogs."

Bruce is survived by his sister, Cynthia Brown-Williams and brother-in-law, Robbie Williams of Anchorage.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward L Brown (1982); and mother, Betty E Brown (1977).

Memorials can be made in Bruce's memory to the MS Society of Alaska.
