Margaret Seabolt of Wasilla, Alaska passed away on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022 at Mat-Su Regional Hospital in Palmer. She was 71.

No service will be held at this time.

Marge was born in Oakland, Calif. on March 25, 1951 to Doug and Lois Horton.

Although born and raised in California, Marge spent much of her life in Alaska, moving up there in 1980. She worked at Alaska Housewares for many years but retired from Carr-Gottsteins in 1997. She moved out of state several times to spend time with her family, living in South Carolina, California and Virginia with her daughter and son in law before moving back to Alaska in 2021 to be near her son and grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Don Eichelberger Jr of Wasilla, Alaska; her daughter, Denise Klohr and son in law, Mark, of Dayton, Ohio; three sisters, Patti Ann Rosburg of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Pepper Perkins of Clinton, Ark., Linda Smith of Reno, Nev.; a brother, Kenneth Horton of Juneau, Alaska; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Doug and Lois Horton; and a brother, Douglas Horton III.
