Rocky Roark Riddell

Rocky Riddell died unexpectedly in Kailua, Hawaii, on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022, from complications while undergoing treatment for cancer.
Rocky was born at the old Providence Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska, and lived in Anchorage and the Matanuska Valley. He graduated from West High School and attended the University of Alaska. Rocky was an excellent carpenter and craftsman, and worked all over Alaska until moving to Hawaii in 1989. He owned and operated K2 Construction, building and remodeling custom homes and commercial businesses.
Rocky was an avid outdoorsman and loved exploring, diving, hiking, skiing, kayaking, sailing, camping and riding his motorcycle, as well as the performing arts. He had a highly developed sense of humor and never hesitated to apply it at the appropriate moment.
Rocky is survived by his wife, Robin (Grondahl) Riddell; sisters, Clydell Lamkin and Robin Gamble; brother, Toby Riddell; along with numerous nephews and nieces.
A private ceremony will be held in Hawaii at a later date.
