Brayden Edward McMillan, 15, passed away on Jan. 10, 2023. He was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on Dec. 21, 2007.

He is survived by his parents, Seth and Kimberly McMillan; brothers, Kylum McMillan and Camden McMillan; grandparents, Edward and Jo Pratt, James and Valerie McMillan; uncles and aunts, Doug and Kelley Zamboni, Sean and Catherine McMillan; cousins, William and Wesley Zamboni, Keira and Kendall McMillan; and other family and close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Pamela McMillan; and longtime friend, Gavin Klebs.

Brayden had an infectious smile he shared often, a kind heart, natural charm, confident swagger and a fun-loving prankster personality that thrived on shared jokes and laughter. He loved his friends, enjoyed his commitment to the NJROTC program, running in the great outdoors and eating copious amounts of pineapple.

Brayden's family and friends will gather together to celebrate his life in a service on Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Mountain City Church, formerly Anchorage Baptist Temple, 6401 East Northern Lights Boulevard, as this facility will better accommodate the large group of loved ones than would the family's home church of Peace Lutheran Eagle River.
