Donald "Don" Lee Smith, age 69, passed away on Dec. 11, 2022, in Nampa, Idaho, from medical complications. He was born in Dos Palos, Calif., and raised in Anchorage, Alaska.

He was an electrician and contractor.

He is survived by his children, Shawna Chaney-Garden, Tina Wiggs, Don Smith Jr. and Fawn Brown; stepdaughter, Heather Thomas; and siblings, Pat, Linda, Claudene, Corbet and Billie.

There will be no funeral. His ashes will be laid at the VA cemetery in Boise, Idaho, as he served in the Marine Corp.
