Dec 26, 2022

Michelle R. Dwyer, 56, of Seven Fields, Pa., passed away on Dec. 26, 2022, in the comfort of her home and in the company of her beloved husband of 24 years Thomas Dwyer. Michelle had been released from the hospital on Christmas Day 2022. She was born on Aug. 12, 1966, to the late Thomas and Peggy Hawk Baskeyfield in New Castle, Pa. She graduated from high school at LCCTC in Lawrence County and continued her education at Dayton Ohio Practical School of Nursing, earning her LPN credentials in 1990.

Michelle traveled extensively nationwide and was an asset in the medical field to include Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Alaska. Her passion was caring for others especially the underprivileged community. Always advocating for the safety and wellbeing of her patients, she was recognized many times throughout her career for her compassion and professionalism. Experiencing her own health problems in later years she took delight in knowing her nursing credentials were current and would be of benefit should she regain her prior composure.

Michelle enjoyed her Pittsburgh Steelers, and found joy in her doll collectables. Her day would be incomplete were she to miss an episode of Good Morning America.

Shortly before her passing, Michelle traveled to Virginia to be with her daughter Ashley and was able to meet her new infant grandsons Khalil and Makai. This was an experience that gave Michelle great pride and inner peace. She also enjoyed her husband's constant attention and being referred to by him as, "My Sweet Wife."

Michelle is survived by her husband Thomas E. Dwyer. She was a proud mother of, and survived by, her two daughters, Marissa (Baker) Dean of Alaska, and Ashley (Baker) Nguyen of Virginia; son, Tyler Baker of Pittsburgh, Pa.; sister, Melissa (Rose) Burkett; and brother, Thomas Baskeyfield. She also enjoyed the company of her husband's extended family in Alaska, California, and New York, to include four stepsons.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her younger sister, Nicole Marich, who she loved dearly; her aunt, Jacqueline Romonsky; and uncle, Kenneth Rose.

Michelle will be missed dearly by the family and many friends who knew her.
