Frederick Legaz

Fred "Ted" Legaz, aka Freddy the Flame and the Moon over Kona, passed away suddenly on Feb. 19, 2024, and will be greatly missed by friends and family.

He was born in Seattle, Wash., and graduated from West Seattle High in 1965. He then went on to Western Washington University, playing baseball and graduating with a business degree. Fred also served in the Navy for four years.

He then moved to Anchorage, Alaska, for love to be with his future wife - wink. He loved to fish, golf, watch football and gamble in Reno, Nev.

Fred is survived by his loving sister, nieces and stepson.
