Daniel Arnold Stoltenberg

Daniel Stoltenberg, aged 68, of Anchorage, Alaska, passed away on March 31, 2024. He was born on May 12, 1955, in Stewartville, Minn. Daniel was a skilled carpenter and cabinet maker, a proud member of the carpenters union, and retired from the Anchorage School District. He was known for his craftsmanship, which took him to various places around Alaska and Hawaii.

Daniel was a caring man, lovingly referred to as a "gentle giant" by his family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and had a special bond with his cat, Cooper. In his free time, Daniel enjoyed working on classic cars.

He is survived by his parents, Arnold and Cynthia Stoltenberg; brother, Randall (Sharon Brooks) Stoltenberg; nephew, Wade (Kathryn) Wilson; and preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Wilson.

A viewing will be held on April 16, 2024 at Anchorage Lutheran Church located at 1420 N. St., starting at 1:00 p.m., followed by a service at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
