Marilyn Delois Cunningham

On Saturday , Dec 9, 2023, our beloved Marilyn Delois Cunningham passed away at the age of 77 while on vacation in Italy with her daughter and son-in-law. She was surrounded by family and friends when she suffered a pulmonary embolism . She will be forever loved, missed and treasured.

Marilyn was born on Aug. 24,1946 in Delano, Calif.. She grew up loving the sunshine and the beach. At the young age of 19 she married her first husband, Bill and moved to North Pole, Alaska. She became a loving mother to her son, Michael Raymond and her daughter, Britani Bakken. She would divorce years' later and eventually marry the love of her life, Lute Cunningham. They were happily married for 35 years'. She worked as a book keeper for over 30 years for various and successful businesses that they owned. She retired in 2016 and moved to Medford, Ore. with her husband and started the next chapter of their lives.

Marilyn loved God. She enjoyed being involved in church activities and she cherished the relationships and connections she had made there. She was a talented artist. She loved reading books, playing the piano, singing and traveling. She was a devoted Grandmother to her only grandchild, Haley Wright. She enjoyed gardening and loved her little dog, Finley.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and Edna Callahan; sister, Darleen Carpenter; son, Michael Raymond; and her husband, Lute Cunningham. She is survived by her daughter, Britani Bakken, son-in-law Mark Bakken and her grand-daughter, Haley Wright.
