Apr 6, 2024
Marilyn "Mimie" Susan Ince, 58, of Anchorage, Alaska, passed suddenly on April 6, 2024.
Mimie was born on Dec 8, 1965, to Louise Woods. She received her education locally in Anchorage. She went on to own and operate "Mimie's Stylist," a successful salon, for nearly 35 years. She was cherished by her clientele and they were her pride.
"Mimie was small in stature; but her heart was immense. Her love for family was genuine, deep and loyal."
Mimie was epically not betrothed. She was a maternal surrogate to all who knew her. She embraced nurturing all of her nieces and nephews as her own.
"She was an asset to the growth and development in each and every one of our lives."
Mimie is accompanied in Heaven by her mother, Louise Ince; sister, Eva Keegan; nephew, Bryan Ince; and other angels. She is remembered by sisters, Jacquelyn Deakins, Stephanie Baril and Rebecca Pedigo; brothers, Chester and Joseph Ince; nieces, Melissa, Jessica, Madeline, Madison, Stormy and Jazmine; nephews, Kyler, Bradley, Blade, Matthew, Ashton and Steven; eight great-nieces and great-nephews; and all of her loved one's spouses and partners and friends.
Memorial Potluck will be held at The Carousel Lounge in Anchorage, at 4 p.m., on May 19, 2024.
Children are essential and welcome until 7 p.m. with a guardian. We will be dressing in "Mimie fashion" - wear pink and pull out your platform shoes. Let's celebrate an icon.
"She was an angel, and now she has wings."
