Corey Gore

Sep 25, 1985 -

Apr 22, 2024

Corey Daniel Gore, born on Sept. 25, 1985, in Anchorage, Alaska, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 22, 2024, after a long-lost battle with addiction.

Corey struggled for years and ultimately, as addiction has done to so many others, it cut his life short.

Corey was raised and lived in Anchorage his entire life. He attended Dimond High School and excelled at math.

Corey was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan and one day dreamed of moving to Texas to sit in the stands. Corey prided himself on his collection of Cowboys swag.

From a young age, Corey grew up bowling in Saturday morning leagues with his sisters and continued into his adult life, bowling in competitive leagues, hitting many perfect games.

To say Corey was passionate about caring for his family and friends would be an understatement. Corey, when available, would do whatever it took to help someone in need, and was a self-proclaimed "goodfella"; his friends and family will remember him as one.

Corey was survived by his father, Robert; mother, Charlene; stepfather, Tim; stepmother, Sheila; sisters, Jennifer, Michelle and Alyssa; and stepbrother, Phil.

Small private family services will be held to celebrate Corey.

If you or someone you know is suffering with addiction, please call the Alaska Careline 24/7 at 877-266-4357.

"Life is precious, fragile, fleeting." -Jim Butcher.
