Clifford Dale Mattingley

Clifford Dale Mattingley, 91, passed away on May 3, 2024, in Montrose, Colo. Known to many as Dale, he was born on April 18, 1933. Dale, was an Army veteran who served during the Korean War.

Dale's love for adventure led him to homestead in Ninilchik, Alaska, in 1957, before eventually settling in Anchorage, Alaska, with his wife, Lynn Marie. Together, they sailed the seas on their cherished boat, "The Anchor Point," creating lasting memories with family and friends. Dale and Lynn later returned to their homestead for many years before relocating to Montrose.

In addition to his wife Lynn, Dale is survived by daughters, Micki Mattingley Hackenberger (spouse Michael) and Lori Marie Hackenberger (spouse Peter); son, John Michael Mattingley (spouse Chris); 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, David Lee Mattingley; and grandson, Thomas M. Hackenberger.
