Tanya Lee Dilley was born on Sept. 25, 1956, in Anchorage, Alaska. She passed away peacefully at home on June 2, 2024.
She lived her teen years in Bellingham, Wash., and graduated from Mount Baker High School. She was passionate about singing and music and attended Seattle Christian School to further her music interests. She returned to Alaska with her family shortly thereafter; she never married or had children. She enjoyed crafts, games and her favorite programs.
She is survived by her brothers, Stephen Dilley of Anchorage, and Stewart Dilley (Elaine) of Bellingham, Wash.; sisters, Marsha Gray-Airis (Mike) of Arlington, Wash., Sherre Jones (Richard) of Anchorage, Sarah Raven of Palmer, Alaska, Alice Smith (Richard) of Anchorage, Nance Dilley of Whittier, Alaska, and Marlita Dilley of Anchorage; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Elisabeth Dilley, Lawaanna Ditullio and Jesse Alto; brothers, Oscar Dilley, Gerald and Kenneth Pope; and parents, Reverends Clarence and Ruth Dilley.
Cremation by Legacy Funeral Home.
Private interment will be held in July 2024 by family.
