Robert William Broach, age 62, of Wasilla, Alaska, passed away on Feb. 27, 2024, in the comfort of his home. Born in Anchorage, Alaska, on June 7, 1961, to John and Martha Broach, he graduated from Chugiak High School in 1979, and obtained a degree in refrigeration and heating from the Mat-Su College. Robert spent 27 years on the North Slope working for Nana Management Services before retiring in 2020.

Robert had a talent for solving Cryptogram puzzles and gardening. He enjoyed the creative process from soap making and tying flies to building RC airplanes. He had a natural talent for troubleshooting and fixing things. Fishing was his ultimate passion, every August he could be found at the river catching silvers.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Nancy, of 41 years; son, Jacob Broach; daughter, Breanna Broach-Marquiss; grandson, Alden William Marquiss; sister, Sandra Brooks; brother, John Broach; nephew, Jason Broach; and nieces, Amy Fredrick, Christina Brooks, Jasmine Deschaine and Treasea Wolf. He is preceded in death by his father, John Broach; mother, Martha Broach; and brother, James Broach.
