Donald Wayne Clausen was born on March 6, 1950, in Moscow, Idaho, and passed away surrounded by family and friends on Aug. 29, 2024, at the age of 74, in Lewiston, Idaho.

A proud Vietnam veteran, he was stationed on the Kittyhawk.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Clausen; sister, Teresa Kacalski; and brother, Carl Clausen.

He is survived by his son, Justin Coddington and family of Texas; daughter, Leah Arrington and family of Alaska; son, Sean Clausen and family of Alaska; and a very special "brother," Gary Kopf of Washington.

Don - he hated Donald - had a love for life, family and friends. He was the best father, grandfather, friend and mentor a person could ask for. His laugh was infectious as he would "tell you what." He had joy in sitting around with the people he loved, telling stories and more stories. He is loved and will be missed by all.

There will be funeral services held at a later date.
