Tanner Jay Stoll

Tanner Jay Stoll, born on April 19, 1982, in Long Beach, Calif., passed away on Aug. 18, 2024, in Wasilla, Alaska. Tanner was known for his vibrant spirit and passion for life, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by many. He was a devoted father to his four children, Tyler, Tanner, Codi and Noah, who were the lights of his life. Tanner deeply valued his family, often saying that his favorite place in the world was with them. He shared many joyful moments walking along the beach in Kenai, Alaska, with his son, searching for agates and enjoying a cold beer with friends. Tanner had a love for music, particularly heavy metal. He also embraced his creative side, spending countless hours working with wood. The unique beauty of the grain captivated him. In addition to his artistic talents, Tanner was a dedicated professional in the field of commercial mechanical plumbing, heating and roofing. He proudly owned Statewide Plumbing and Heating. He was also a passionate hockey fan, never missing a chance to watch his sons play and was thrilled to attend the NHL Winter Classic in person. He is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Barbara; along with his siblings, Ryan, Brynn and Garret; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Tanner's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, a testament to a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter and unforgettable moments.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, from 1-3 p.m., at Schwabenhof, 4115 East Palmer-Wasilla Highway in Wasilla.
