Jackie Marie Foley, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on Oct. 26, 2024, in Anchorage, Alaska, surrounded by her loving children.

Raised in San Angelo, Texas, by father Robert and mother Katie McCleery, Jackie was known for her warmth, kindness and selfless love. She always put others first, making countless sacrifices for family and friends.

Jackie is survived by her daughters, Tammie Jenkins (Ralph) and Sharon Foley; son, Jack Foley Jr. (Nicole); brother, Phil McCleery; niece, Katie McCleery; and cousins, Elda Havens, Lloyd Porter, Danny McCleery and Herb Smyth. She leaves behind 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack A. Foley Sr.; daughter, Connie Foley-Schroder; and sister-in-law, Jan McCleery.

A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served a full-time mission at the LDS Family History Center in the Los Angeles Temple from 1989 to 1991. Jackie delighted in family gatherings, Celtic culture, ballroom dancing and BYU sports. Her life was a testament to her resilience, love and dedication, always giving freely to ensure her children never went without. Her family fondly recalls her warmth, strength and devotion.

Memorial services were held Monday, Nov. 4, 2024. Jackie Marie Foley's legacy of love and unbreakable family bonds will endure. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
