Ed's journey has ended in life. He died peacefully at home with is wife, Donna beside him. He was born in Malden, Mass., to Mary and Edward Hyatt.
His life's journey took him into the Air Force for over 20 years. After his time in the Air Force, Ed worked with the Teamsters and the FAA. Throughout his life, Ed went to many countries, states and Alaska communities. Some of the countries he visited include Vietnam, Germany, Turkey, Ireland and Israel. He cruised to many others.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Donna; son, Kevin; daughter-in-law, Helen; brother, Walter; special nephew, Danny Callahan; and many nieces and nephews in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
He is preceded in death by his sons, Edward and David Hyatt; and brother, Philip Hyatt.
There will be a burial at Fort Richardson National Cemetery on Nov. 26, 2024, at 1 p.m. Please come to the Fort Richardson gate early to arrange base passes.
