Timothy John Marsh, 62, passed away peacefully at his home in Wasilla, Alaska, on Jan. 26, 2025.

Tim was born on July 2, 1962, in Corvallis, Ore., to parents Leonard and Lorraine Marsh. He was the youngest of six children. His family moved to Alaska in 1968.

Tim was a commercial fisherman most of his life which he enjoyed, tremendously, and he would always say that if he could keep doing it, he would be on a boat in a heartbeat. He also spent time cooking in various restaurants throughout Alaska. Cooking was a passion of his which he did very well. His greatest passion was spending time with his children and grandson, Mario. Tim and Mario shared the same birthday and he always tried to travel so they could celebrate together. Tim made friends wherever he went. His infectious smile and crazy laugh made him the life of the party! He will be dearly missed by us all.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda Sargent; and brothers, Bill (William) Marsh and Douglas Marsh.

Tim is survived by his son, Timothy TJ Tallerico (Francesca); grandson, Mario; daughter, Linda Marsh (Dillon Lillard); brothers, Michael Marsh (Lily) and James Marsh (D'Ava); and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life is planned for his family and friends on Feb. 16, 2025, at 2 p.m., at 5550 Yukon Charlie Loop, Anchorage, AK 99502. Kindly reply by phone or text to 907-952-4158 or 907-952-4057 if you are able to join us.

At Tim's request, his ashes will be spread at sea, the place that brought him much happiness. The date will be announced later in summer 2025.
