Ibbie was known for growing dahlias and other beautiful ribbon-winning flowers along with farming the original Sandvik plot of land, which she continued until her passing.
Ibbie, known by many as "Grandma Sandvik," will be remembered for her generous hospitality, but most of all for her faith in God. Ibbie was a member of the Palmer Seventh-day Adventist Church, where she often graced the church and the members with her beautiful flowers.
Ibbie is survived by Chuck and Vickie Sandvik of Nampa, Idaho; Randy and Patti Sandvik of Palmer, Alaska; Ronda Sandvik of Troy, Idaho; and Vonya Sandvik of Anchorage, Alaska; as well as 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kent Sandvik; and brother, David Pearson.
