Lynnette Lorraine Stouff

Palmer, Alaska, resident Lynnette Stouff, 77, passed peacefully with her husband Rich by her side at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025.

Lynnette and Rich married on Oct. 28, 1967. Lynnette began her career as a barber/cosmetologist. After their move to Alaska in 1989, she opened her own business, Lynn's Pine Point Bed and Breakfast, operating from 1992-2004. Hers was the first bed-and-breakfast, not only in Alaska, but in the entire U.S. to be recognized by AAA, with a 3-star rating. She loved hosting people from all over the world, many with whom she developed lasting relationships.

Lynnette was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Lorraine Stensby; and brother, Richard Stensby.

Lynnette is survived by her husband, Rich; son, Richard Stouff (Neely Dubinski); daughter, Tracy Wills; granddaughters, Brittany (Tyler) Wright, Olivia Wills and Kaylee (Lane) Johnson; grandson, Laine Stouff; and great-grandchildren, Lucy, Jaxton, Eloise, Leo and L'owyn.

The family would like to thank the staff at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center for their ongoing care and loving kindness during the two months she was there.

A Celebration of Life was held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wasilla, Alaska, on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, at 2 p.m. The family plans to hold a celebration of life in Wisconsin at a later date.
