Travis Ernest Anderson, 38, of Anchorage, Alaska, passed away on Jan. 10, 2025.
Travis was born on July 8, 1986, in Fairbanks, Alaska, and lived most of his life in Anchorage. He played football for Dimond High before graduating and moving to Utah. He maintained an athletic life snowboarding and skateboarding. He pursued that passion by working in the snowboarding business in retail outlets, representing brands and supporting youth boarding camps. He also worked in commercial fishing and land surveying. He traveled throughout Alaska, from Valdez to the North Slope. He spent as much time as possible in the mountains, camping, hiking or boarding with his family and friends. He was a very talented man with a quirky sense of humor. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Travis is survived by his two children, Jaxon and Kaija; parents, Travis Anderson and Annette Stelling; sisters, Jessie and Chelsea; and numerous other relatives.
A service to remember Travis's life is planned for midsummer 2025. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the charity of your choice or to one of many homeless support organizations or plant a tree in his memory.
