Charles "Chuck" Edward Eubank passed away on Jan. 27, 2025, in Tucson, Ariz., at the age of 79. He was born on July 9, 1945, in Webster Springs, W.Va., to Orval and Letha Eubank.
A skilled mechanic by trade, Chuck specialized in jet turbines. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1983 after 20 years of service, including multiple tours during the Vietnam War.
An avid outdoorsman, Chuck found great joy in hunting and fishing. He and his beloved wife, Valerie, spent their years traveling across the United States, Mexico, and Europe, forming lifelong friendships along the way.
Chuck was known for his unwavering work ethic and honesty. His strength and steadfast nature left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He is survived by Valerie, his wife of 59 years; children, Terry and Angela; sisters, Shirley Eubank and Marlene Fretag; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held in summer 2025, with details to be shared at a later time.
