Michael Trevor Kaskey, affectionately known as "Mikey," passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Chelsea Inn Hotel in Anchorage, Alaska. He was 25 years old at the time of his passing.

Born on July 2, 1999, in Wasilla, Alaska, Michael was the son of Heather Irene Jones and Michael Wayne Kaskey. He attended Chugiak High School and graduated from the Alaska Military Youth Academy. Michael also served briefly in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his mother, Heather Jones; his father, Michael Kaskey; his older sister, Ciara Akers; and his younger sister, Riley Hauser.

A Celebration of Life in honor of Michael will be held from 1-4 p.m. at Chugiak Elementary School. Donations and flowers are welcomed.

Michael was known for his passionate and sensitive nature. He was a loving, kind, and caring individual who had a remarkable ability to make others smile. His presence touched many lives, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
